Customer Review: Essential Software Summary: 5 StarsAs a recent switcher from Windows to Mac, iLife is essential software for the Mac user. It just works!!! iPhoto alone is worth the price.
Customer Review: iLife '09 Summary: 3 Stars
There has been no problem with the installing and the functioning of the iLife '09 program, however, it obviously was not new. There was no original packing and marks were on the disk. We all know that this is not ethical and would not have been my choice to support.
Customer Review: ilife update Summary: 5 StarsThere are a lot of new things going on with iLife 09 it has improved the programs a lot
Customer Review: iMovie waste of time Summary: 1 StarsI have a new Macbook Pro. Spent hours editing an iMovie project. Everything was fine. Opened it later to find many changes were undone and video stalled in places. Visited the MAC forum to find out I'm not alone. There is no way to manually "save" or "save as." It is done automatically upon exiting the iMovie program. The problem is that some changes are lost during the saving and exiting. Read the Discussion Section for ILife '09 and iMovie '09 on Apple's website to find out about these problems. I lost hours of work.
Update: I called Apple and found out that nothing was properly saved because I was not properly quitting the program. I was simply clicking on the red "X" as did with Windows and not clicking on "QUIT IMOVIE" in the tool bar. No more problems with unsaved changes. So I'll give it four stars because I my movies where automatically saved to IPhoto when I was downloading photos. Now I can't figure out how to get them into IMovie. Tutorials and HELP haven't been very helpful with this issue.
