Amazon did a great job mailing me a box with a 16-digit code and a pair of Apple stickers in it. And when I typed that 16-digit code in, WOW! After a few minutes, the expiration date on my account moved forward an entire year! Highly recommended!Customer Review: Love it

Love this service. I was paying $[...] a year just to maintain an email address that worked with my desktop software. A $[...] annual fee with all the extras I get from MobileMe (especially the idisk, and public folder ability) is just fine with me. I use MobileMe constantly, and have come to rely on it. Yes, I suffered through the 'launch' of MobileMe from .Mac. It was frustrating, but I'm over it. The Apple folk kept in constant communication throughout the difficulties, and compensated it's customers by extending our subscriptions. The platinum standard customer focus is one of the biggest reasons I love Apple.
TRUE: I don't know enough about google apps to compare.
ALSO TRUE: I got in early enough to have an @mac.com email address. If I were stuck with @me.com, I probably wouldn't have gotten the product. I know, seems like a small thing to blow off the whole product over, but I'm a professional, and an email of @me.com is just too narcissistic -- it would turn off my contacts.
TRUE AGAIN: It doesn't really like Internet Explorer, and it can be slow on some systems. MobileMe prefers Firefox (as do I), tho I can usually manage my email and squeak by on other things in a pinch (it just doesn't look as good -- buttons get scrambled, labels get off-mark, etc.). I have no speed issues on my home system, but on networks that already have connection / speed issues (like my workplace), it can be a headache.

Works great for syncing your info across multiple computers and iPhone.
Keeps me straight. Calendar and contact info is automatically synchronized on my Desktop, Notebook & iPhone. This does work.
The photo gallery is a big PLUS! It looks great and gives you some powerful options.
AnyClient is a free utility that works super with iDisk! Without which using iDisk on a PC would be a big pain in the neck. So with this freeware, it is super.
I have been using for a while and just bought this for my Dad. If you are using the free trial to MobileMe, put in the number on the website and it will ask you if you want to start automatically when the trial is up!! Way to go apple!

I've used .mac and Mobile Me for two years now. It had a few hiccups, but it's great now.MobileMe A must have for iPhone users and people using more than one Mac or a combination of Mac and PC. Also great for travelers.
