All in all, my family and I have 4 iPhones, one iPod touch and 7 Macs. Not a bad idea to get the MobileMe Family Pack. It's now a better deal than .Mac was (because of the over-the-air sync of iPhones and PC support which none of us use).
My only problem with the service is that sometime sync gets confused and tries to mess up my address book, which forces me to over-write all from the cloud into my computers. It has happened a few times already.

Probably the only way to keep a multi-user family Mac situation in control. Allows you to ensure that preferences, email accounts, bookmarks, calendars and contacts are fully synchronized. Worthwhile, particularly if you purchase at lower Amazon price.Customer Review: Mobile Me saves the Day

MobileMe Family Pack I had just purchased and signed up for Mobile Me a few days before my hard drive on my MacBook crashed. I had good backups of everything but my address book and contacts. Fortunately, those were all stored on my MobileMe account "in the cloud". After getting the new hard drive (thank you Apple Care) and reloaded my OSX operating system) & programs, I synced my computer with MobileMe *just like magic* all of my calendar appointments & contact information were just there. How cool is that?
If you have an iPhone and don't have MobileMe you are just simply missing out on one of the best parts of the service. In addition to the sync capabilities, you have access to iDisk which will give you a place to store photos and files that are accessible from any web browser. You will also have access to your calendar, contacts & email from any browser.
This is a hard-to-beat service and I would highly recommend the Family pack if you have more than one iPhone in the family.

I am a Mac user as I have stop using Windows and Linux. I find the MobileMe experience very good. Sure the launch at first was bad, but I never had any problems. I have my desktop calendar and contacts syncing to my MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, and iPhone (3G). They are all syncing without any problems for myself and my spouse who is a Mac user as well (iMac - MacBook - iPhone (3G)). The family pack is just a cost efficient way to have 5 accounts. You can also renew your existing family account and still save money over what Apple would charge you for a renewal.
I also like the way I can post pictures, movies, and webpages. I tend use the MobileMe over something like Flickr or Picasa or Kodiak as I don't have to worry about my pictures being open for public use. Those other sites cannot guarantee that my pictures are deleted when I remove them from those sites.
The last time is that this service does give you access to Apple's support. I never had any problems with this support system and every time I had to ask a question, the support staff was able to answer my question and give a good explanation to help you understand the process.
This is a very good buy and I would recommend this product especially to anyone having the iPhone and want their contacts synced with their desktop and phone using MobileMe's cloud.
