Software Reviews of Apple Mac OS X Version 10.5.4 Leopard [5-User Family Pack]Customer Review: Mac OS X leopard Summary: 5 StarsI've bought this with iLife for 2 Mac computers. It is easy to install. I did not need to format like other platforms, it was just an upgrade.I like the multi desktop feature it is cool and works fine with no delay. There are lots of other stuff to try. Sharing documents and an exrternal HD was easy too.
Customer Review: if you want fun or work- this is perfect Summary: 5 Starsit extends play almost endlessly and it gives you many new features for work and industry files.
Customer Review: Not bad, but not revolutionary. Summary: 3 StarsThis is what I consider to be a decent upgrade. I bought the family pack and had major installation problems on one of my four machines. Then I had to sit on the phone for a long time to even figure out how to fix it. The magazine MacWorld told me now to do it, btw.
Anyway, it's fine, but no great shakes in terms of improvement over the older version. It's a little better, but not a light year leap ahead.
Customer Review: Great Product Summary: 5 StarsFantastic product!!! Everyone who owns a Mac and doesn't have Leopard needs to get it today.
Customer Review: Stable Platform Summary: 4 Stars I have found OSX 10.5 to be a stable platform. The new features of the system that I use are the stacking and the stationary for Mail. The COMMAND + F feature is upgraded and very useful. The one problem I had was easily solved by updating the software immediately after loading the program. Without this update my Mail program didn't work. When you begin to upload the new OS the computer verifies the integrity of the DVD. I skipped this step without incident and saved 45 minutes. I can't say that the new system is that much better than 0S 10.4 to justify the expense. To me it was a matter of keeping up to date with features and security. I am satisfied with the new OS.
